Paintball Sniper

A paintball sniper can be a strategic addition to a paintball team.

In police work a sniper lies in wait to catch a target from a distance. A paintball sniper performs the same task. While other players run the course and hunt each other down, the paintball sniper patiently waits for a target to come near him.

Guns for a paintball sniper do not vary significantly from regular paintball guns. Since a paintball sniper's gun must follow regulations, it cannot fire paint balls at a speed of more than 300 feet per second. However, there is some equipment that can help a sniper.

A paintball sniper needs to wait patiently, so having a stand for his gun will help. Also, it is important to hit the target on the first try. Therefore, a sniper should look for a gun with a regulator so that the gun will shoot consistently.
