The advantages of having a whole new frame is STRENGTH, appearance and the simple fact that any 45 grip, such as Hogue, will be at the right height. With a 45 grip handle attached to your stock trigger frame, the mounting holes for any grips are lower then what you would have with a whole new trigger frame. This results in a large gap between the trigger guard and first finger groove. This isn't so noticeable with double triggers. However, wrap around grips do not fit double trigger frames with trigger guards. (Hogue wrap around grips WILL fit the DYE double frame. Not the Diamond Labs) You have to use 45 side panels only. Like Pearce, that are available at Polecat Paintball.

DYE frames have an excellent metal and cosmetic finish. The one short coming is that they are just a little bit to thin. The stock pins will stick out a small amount. The single trigger frame does not have a good place for the safety spring and ball. The double trigger frame fixes the safety flaw and also comes with a double trigger. The double frame also has an adjustable trigger stop. Both DYE frames come with a longer mounting screw for the back of the frame and a new lower sear pin. They do not come with grips. A VERY nice feature is the fact that both frames are drilled and tapped for the stock bottom line as well as after market in-line bottom lines. They are also available in chrome. (Although DYE is always out of chrome when I try to order them)
TASO 45
The unique thing about the TASO frames are the curved back strap. The curved backstrap is really nice and fits those of us with large hands better. The sad part with TASO frames is their metal finish. I would not recommend this frame for either replating or painting as they tend to be more dinged up when they arrive. You can also see tool marks. This frame is available in black or nickel. The nickel looks good (No tool marks and has a nice finish) but will tarnish. They also come with "cheapo" side panel grips.
